Changes to Championship Classes for the 2025 Season

There have been a number of minor changes to the Championship Classes for the 2025 Season. The Classes for 2025 are as follows:

1 Lightweight Class for Production Based Machines up to 400cc 4 strokes and 250cc 2 strokes 300cc & 400cc Ninja Machines are included.
Open tyre choice.


2 Honda CB 500 and Suzuki Bandit 600 Class plus Kawasaki ER5 and similar machines


3 Wilson Trophy for any machine 101cc to 500cc. No other restrictions


4 Open 600 any 401cc to 600cc class including 675cc triples and Kawasaki 636. No other restrictions.


5 Golden Supersport Machines up to 600cc four stroke manufactured before 31st December 2004. No other restrictions


6a GP 250cc Machines & Mini Twins any twin cylinder 4 stroke machine to 650cc water cooled or 820cc 4 stroke air cooled. No over-bores or
big bore engines permitted.


6b Super Twins Two cylinder up to 700cc 4 stroke including Aprilia 660cc, Yamaha R7 700cc, BMW F900R, Kramer 690 Single, Triumph 660 Triples. No over-bores or big bore engines permitted.


7 Darley Cup for all Class 5 & 6 machines.


8 Open Solos 241cc to 750cc 2 strokes and 651cc to 1300cc 4 strokes with no other restrictions.


9 Golden Superbikes for machines up to 1300cc manufactured before 31st December 2004 and Classic Superbikes to 750cc. No other
restrictions.


10 Ben Godfrey Trophy for any machine 401cc to 1300cc Four Stroke or 251 – 750cc two stroke. No other restrictions


11 Golden Formula 400 for any machine up to 400cc manufactured before 31st December 2004


12a Open sidecars for any sidecar to 1300cc four stroke and 750cc two stroke. This class will include the Triumph 675cc TT class.


12b. Formula 600 Sidecars – complying with ACU Formula 600 Sidecar specifications.

Many of these changes are just to names and adding a cut of date to some classes.
