Marshalling can be a very rewarding way of getting involved with motorcycle sport. You certainly can’t get any closer to the action than trackside. Our Orange Army of Marshals is well respected by all the riders and officials and it is well known that without them there would be no racing.
At Darley Moor Sports Centre we need numerous Officials to help organise the events. These can vary from office staff, timekeepers, technical staff, security staff the list is endless.
Members of the Darley Moor Marshals Association and Race Day Officials receive the following benefits during the season:

To become a member of our Orange Army you must be over 18 years of age to work trackside. You must be fit enough to stand for most of a Race day (from 09.30 to 17.30. You will also require suitable footwear and clothing .
Should you be unsure about becoming a Marshal or Race Official with us why not enrol into our buddy for a day scheme where you will be paired with an experienced Marshal or Official for a day to gain some knowledge to help you decide if Marshalling is for you!!!!
If you attend Darley Moor Sports Centre with a rider or spectator and fancy helping the Club out by becoming an official on race day you will be welcome with open arms. You do not require any special knowledge, except perhaps to become a technical official, just a basic knowledge. We will help you learn our procedures and of course we may well learn from picking your brains.
